Weekly Tibetan Astrology: September 6 - September 12, 2010

NOTE: We enter the eighth lunar month on Thursday. Maybe the ghosts of 9/11 are obscuring this week, or maybe something perfidious is in the works. Either way, this is not a good week for government, social stability, or the functions of state security. Political aggression is indicated all week long. Violence is definitely not out of the question. While it is possible that plots may be foiled, they may be only partially foiled. There can be problems with transportation, and a general dread, or expectation of trouble that weakens the spirit, and forces a change in plans. Last week, with its gunmen, volcano, earthquakes, and landslides, was no prize, but at least it was clear. This week is a bit murky. Plotters are in the shadows, and hostile acts are planned -- a contradiction, because secret deliberations are best avoided in a Bird month. My advice? Like the song says: "Accentuate the positive, and eliminate the negative."

September 6, 2010 - Chinese 28th, M-T-K 28th. Snake, Zon, White 1. Labor Day. Positive energies today but don't become frivolous. Don't cut trees or interact with water.

September 7, 2010 - Chinese 29th, M-T-K 29th. Horse, Li, Black 2. Dharmapala Day. Concentrate on strengthening the home front. Extra supplies may be in order. Bad day for litigation.

September 8, 2010 - Chinese 1st, M-T-K 30th. Monkey, Dwa, Green 4. Note omitted Chinese day. Don't try to control events, and don't move quickly. A bad day for government. Travel to the east can be favorable, but as a general issue, travel not the best today.

September 9, 2010 - Chinese 2nd, M-T-K 1st. Bird, Khen, Yellow 5. Today is baden, so no flags. Travel indicated. Good day to make requests. Do not disturb earth element. Avoid plotting.

September 10, 2010 - Chinese 3rd, M-T-K 2nd. Dog, Kham, White 6. Today is zin phung. Ordinarily, the plans of one's adversaries would not go well today, but something may slip through the cracks. Avoid confrontation, aggression, or fighting of any kind.

September 11, 2010 - Chinese 4th, M-T-K 3rd. Pig, Gin, Red 7. Heightened tensions lead to weakness and weariness. Avoid aggression. Vajrakilaya helps. Avoid disturbing the earth element.

September 12, 2010 - Chinese 5th, M-T-K 4th. Mouse, Zin, White 8. Sudden acts of war. Make offerings to protectors. Plant trees. Don't begin travel today.

Naga observations for the eighth  month: Very good days are lunar 2, 8, 12, 15, 29. Offerings also possible on 3 through 7, 11, 14, 16, 17, 20, 22, 23, 27, 28, 30. Very bad days are lunar 10, 19. Also avoid 1, 9, 13, 18, 21, 24, 25, 26
